With a headquarters library, two branch libraries, a bookmobile, and a digital library of eBooks, eAudiobooks, magazines, and business reference, educational, and language databases, it is the County’s testament of the importance a public library represents in its business and educational fabric.
Effective partnerships drive the Library’s business, from providing materials in a variety of formats from the best vendors and a consortium of libraries throughout South Carolina to helping people find jobs through the state’s SC WorkLink. Residents can come together
in meeting rooms to discuss community issues, watch films, sew a quilt, participate in book discussions, and more. Computer classes are offered regularly and range from learning
basic skills to creating spreadsheets. For over 100 years the Greenwood County Library has joined the area’s businesses and schools in being the center of the County’s growth and development, and is primed to do so for another 100 years.
