FTARMER'S MARKETS
he Greenwood Farmer's Market is a grower/producers-only farmer's market located off SC Hwy 72/221 E near the Greenwood Recreation Complex just outside the city of Greenwood. Growers
and producers from Greenwood and the surrounding counties provide the ever-growing Lakeland's area with the freshest fruits, vegetables, honey, baked goods, plants and farm crafts during the growing season. Contact Newton O'Dell at (864) 223-6305.
Uptown Market was established on Maxwell Ave in 2011 with two produce stands furnished by the SC Department of Commerce. The market's current location, the 160 ft. open-air brick pavilion, was completed in April 2016. Designed by Furman Architects to
be reminiscent of the old Seaboard train station located in town, the pavilion allows easy access for local farmers and their customers. The landscaping includes educational displays of edible plants.
The venue hosts concerts and events. The 3,600 square foot interactive water feature boasts 42 water jets and has a maximum capacity of 343 people. This water feature is free and open to the public from Memorial Day through Labor Day weekends. Visit uptowngreenwood.com for details.
