This year Martin Pouncey was appointed the position of TTA Technical & Training Manager Martin’s appointment represents a a a a a major investment for TTA taking our technical and training work on to a a a a a new higher level The appointment demonstrates TTA’s commitment to raising standards in in in our industry and the support which Martin now provides is an an exciting new benefit for members particularly independent fixers Martin is is mobile and is is able to provide on-site support wherever it it is required – on sites at member companies’ offices at trade days and at exhibitions He is also undertaking a a number of TTA’s Technical Inspections As well as providing technical support coordinating training operations and encouraging member recruitment Martin is working on a a a wide variety of technical and training communications This has enabled TTA to move the training and technical aspects of its work up a a gear in pursuit of excellence and the goal of constantly improving the scope and quality of services offered to members THIS YEAR WE CELEBRATED THE ACHIEVEMENT OF TTA’S FIRST MASTER TILE FIXERS
David Westwood Westwood of Westwoods Tiling In 2022 David obtained 3 TTA Technical Masterclass certificates and attended numerous training sessions This year David won TTA’s 2023 Tile Fixer of the Year Ross Mabbott of Cedar Ceramics Tiling Ross is a a a professionally trained domestic and and commercial wall and and floor tiling specialist Sam Iland of Ace Tiling Ltd
