ABOUT UPSHER
Upsher are a family-run business.
Scott’s great-uncle Alfred was a plumber: after serving in the RAF during WWII, he started Upsher & Chapman Plumbing in 1954, in Plumstead Common, and became Corgi registered. Scott wanted a name that stood out and wasn’t the same as lots of other companies, so created a business branding using his mum’s maiden name – his mum works in the business too – and Upsher Heating & Plumbing was born.
I’m Scott. I love working with people. So many of our customers become regular and repeat clients because they know that they can trust us and rely on us.
Scott is a fully qualified and Gas Safety certified heating engineer. He cut his teeth working for one of the “Big Six” energy companies for nine years, originally as an apprentice, becoming an engineer and then Regional Quality Manager, before setting up his own business in 2016.
