P. 2
I am Natalie Ranger (RGN, partner of Ranger Home Care) and for over 13 years my husband James and I have worked in the live-in care industry.
We have 4 children; some are old enough to work
in the business in their holidays, so don’t ever be surprised if you call and one of them answers the phone or soon fingers crossed, drops off PPE. We firmly believe in creating a family atmosphere and everyone working together as a team.
As an RGN I worked in A&E, hospitals and community care. As an HCA I have worked in the UK, Australia, Care Homes, Special Needs homes and hospitals. After leaving the IT industry, James swiftly learnt how to manage Dementia clients, Stomas, Peg Feeds, he is also a qualified First Aider, Moving and Handling Trainer, and Assessor. Both of us have covered for our live-in carers and work daily in the office, we are part of the on-call rota. We are always contactable on our emails natalie@rangerhomecare.com and james@rangerhomecare.com so please do not hesitate to contact us.
James and I believe that no one should have to pack up their lives and leave their home to move all their belongings into one room, in a Care Home. Live-in care offers clients the freedom to remain in their homes, surrounded by their belongings with the freedom to see loved ones, when they wish, to have their own routines or in fact no routine at all, to keep pets and their social life. We can demonstrate that no one ever must leave their own and are privileged to share care journeys with our clients through to the end. Ranger Home Care are proud to work with Continuing Health Care on complex clients. We ensure that all equipment such as Bi-Pap, C-Pap, and PEG feeding, that a nursing home can provide is provided in the community. There is no need for anyone to ever leave the familiarity and comfort of their own home.
All our staff are handpicked by us. Live-in carers are vetted, through a strict recruitment process that includes DBS checks, references, and interviews. All our staff complete the Skills for Care, nationally recognised Care Certificate. Our live-in carers are fully supported by Care Managers, Care Co-ordinators, Care Administrators, 24 hours a day 7 days a week. We will not just ‘drop and run’. We attend handovers, multi-disciplinary meetings, spot checks and wellbeing visits. Our priority is your safety, happiness, and wellbeing.
