1. The Contract
1.1 This agreement is made between Ranger Home Care Ltd (trading as Ranger Home Care and hereafter referred to as Ranger Home Care) and the Client.
1.2 The company is acting as an employment business as defined in the Employment Agencies Act 1973 when dealing with employed workers.
1.3 All terms and conditions of business have been made available to the client either at a meeting, in correspondence, or on the internet www.rangerhomecare.com with any duly authorised representative of the company and any subsequent acceptance by the client of the provision of care services, via the company, will deem that the client has accepted the terms and conditions of business (to include any revised versions) as being the basis of a contractual agreement between the company and the client and these terms will be binding whether or not the contract provided is signed. Additional copies of all terms and conditions (and any revised versions) are available upon request
from our office.
1.4 The company employs all carers as defined, and in accordance with Section 134 of the Income and Corporation Taxes Act 1988 and related legislation. The company is required to deduct where applicable all statutory contributions in respect of National Insurance and Income Tax.
1.5 No statement, unless stated to the contrary, contained in any brochure, document or letter issued by the company, will form any part of this contract.
1.6 The client acceptance of a notice of fees for services by Ranger Home Care constitutes an offer by the client to purchase services specified in it on these terms. No offer made by the client shall be accepted by Ranger Home Care Ltd other than: (a) By written acknowledgment issued and executed by Ranger Home Care; or
(b) By Ranger Home Care starting to provide the services when a Contract for the supply and purchase of those services on these terms will be established by way of implied conduct.
1.7 Ranger Home Care will supply the client with a client Handbook which contains additional information about the services to be provided and is incorporated into this contract along with its terms and conditions. In the event of a conflict of terms between this contract and the client Handbook this contract will take precedence.
1.8 Ranger Home Care agrees to provide services during the period of the booking, from the commencement date. Ranger Home Care cannot guarantee that a particular named carer will be able to remain with the client throughout the entire booking. Ranger Home Care will use all reasonable efforts to ensure continuity of care and will make a special effort to meet the client’s wishes.
2. Assessment Period
2.1 The first two weeks of any arrangement shall be regarded as a trial period, in order to ensure that the services are fully adequate and satisfactory to all parties oncerned. Either party may cancel the arrangement without stating cause during this period by giving 48 hours written notice to the other party. This term is now
