CONDITIONS OF SALE
1. The sale will be conducted under the rules and regulations of the New Zealand Stock and Station Agents Association.
2. Each lot becomes the property of the purchaser at the fall of the hammer.
3. All details of the cattle catalogued are believed to be correct, but no responsibility
is taken for errors or omissions by the vendor or Auctioneers.
4. Insurance is recommended and available from the Auctioneers.
5. All lots are sold exclusive of GST.
6. Fertility – The bulls offered are guaranteed fertile and capable of natural service.
The purchase price without interest, expenses, costs or damages shall be refunded in full if a bull proves totally infertile. (In the case of a suspected bull, purchasers shall notify the vendor, in writing and accompanied by a Veterinary Certificate, within three months of the start of the mating season).
Structural Soundness – Bulls are guaranteed to remain structurally sound for a minimum of two years. Should a fault develop which affects the bull’s ability to breed and is not covered by insurance the purchaser will be refunded a portion of the purchase price depending on the length of service the bull has given, namely two thirds after one year service or one third after two years service. This refund will be available in the form of a credit at the next sale or on a replacement bull.
7. The vendors reserve the right to change the catalogue order.
8. The vendors reserve the right to obtain semen straws at own cost from any of the
sold lots for own in herd use.
PURCHASING REBATE
All intending purchasers must register at the sales office prior to the sale.
PGW will pay a purchasing rebate of 6% of the purchase price excluding GST, plus GST, to livestock companies & recognised independent livestock agents with a PGW account who have introduced buyers to PGW before the sale and/or accompanied buyers to the sale.
