slope of Bill William's Mountain, were mistakenly believed to be the upper reaches of Bill William's Fork by Sitgreaves, Leroux,and,initially,byWhipple.Whipplediscoveredthem tobetributariesoftheVerdeRiver.Thestreamnowcalled Bill William's Fork heads west of Aztec Pass and runs to the Colorado River.
Area of dense junipers lying between "Topographical Hill" and Big Chino Valley. Encompassed an undefined area around approximate present site of Drake, Arizona. The Ridge of the BlackforestisnowcalledBigBlackMesaandliesnortheast of Paulden, Arizona, along the northeast edge of Chino Valley.
