Travis Perry reports that he saw similar interaction between fox and polecat in South Africa during his research there, and that the local people indicated that they “were hunting buddies”.
We are happy to add to the body of factoids in this emerging area of natural history research.
The survey of skunk photos turned up these four images of Common Gray Fox and skunk (two, possibly, three species) in the same frame.
