Ukraine’s State Regulatory Service (SRS), the body that approves all the acts of other state bodies, has declined to approve a recent government resolution that sets higher natural gas rates for households and heating enterprises since early November. In a move that could potentially kill off the recently announced desperately needed new IMF deal, the SRS believes that it had earlier approved another cabinet draft resolution that was changed significantly afterwards, so it now requires another round of approval.
