Tymoshenko’s rival has been slow to challenge Tymoshenko with advertising and the Petro Poroshenko Bloc “Solidarity” is spending significantly less, and less as most of the other parties in the race as well. Expenditures of the pro-Russian Opposition Bloc lead by Yuriy Boyko (aka Boiko) have also grown. In the first quarter of 2018, expenditures on propaganda activities (advertising, publishing, printing) amounted to UAH636,214 ($22,512), and UAH6,859,810 ($242,736) in the second quarter of 2018.
The Samopomich Association spent UAH3,355,655 ($118,736) on these activities in the first quarter of 2018, and UAH6,624,656 ($234,407) in the second quarter of 2018; the Radical Party of Oleh Liashko spent UAH548,347 ($19,403) in the first quarter and UAH6,518,993 ($230,662) in the second quarter, and the People’s Front Party has not submitted its financial report over the first quarter, while in the second quarter, the party said it spent UAH999,599 ($35,370) on propaganda activities.

Seven out of ten Ukrainians say they are ready to vote in the presidential election in March 2019, according to a poll by sociological group "Rating" on behalf of the International Republican Institute, Ukrinform.net reports .
