     Naftogaz takes control of Donetskoblgaz. In a recent announcement in Ekonomichna Pravda, three members of the board of Donetskoblgaz were fired, and two representatives of Naftogaz were appointed in their place. Naftogaz Ukraine has gained control of Donetskoblgaz, which was previously linked to the businessman, Serhiy Kurchenko, who fled to Russia in 2014.

    Ukrzaliznytsia sells non-core assets. UZ will sell real estate on October 19 and November 4 on Prozorro.Sales platform. The company plans to sell 9 lots of real estate and another 7 assets which were not sold in the last auction. These assets are commercial properties including shops, and complexes in Dnipro, Synelnykovo, Kryvyi Rih, Chop, Uzhhorod, Ivano-Frankivsk, and Lviv. By the end of the year, Ukrzaliznytsia plans to sell 434 assets of its non-core assets and earn up to UAH0.5bn ($19mn) from the sale.
Ukrzaliznytsia has reduced company loss to UAH 468.8 ($17.6 mln). In September, UZ earned UAH 321.9 ($12.1 mln) in profits. The company managed to reduce losses to UAH 468.8 ($17.6) mln in the first nine months of 2021, reported the press service of Ukrzaliznytsia. The results were achieved due to the revival of the freight cargo increase and bigger traffic volumes. The profit from freight transportation amounted to over UAH 8.7 bln (328 mln), however, there was loss from passenger traffic was over UAH 10.1 mln ($378,000)
The Cabinet of Ministers has provided Antonov with state guarantees of up to UAH 470 mln ($17.8 mln) for the construction of the AN-32. The decision will allow Antonov to attract favorable loans to finance the new construction project.
Antonov Airlines’s An-225 Mriya, the world’s largest cargo airplane plane, is back in business. ON OCTOBER 20, after flying Covid test kits from China to Ausria, it returned to Gostomel, the Kyiv Region base for the Ukrainian air cargo company. “There is a shortage of transport capacities in the world market, especially in sea freight, which has significantly influenced a significant increase in demand for air transportation services,” says Andriy Blagovisny, Antonov’s sale director. “The Antonov An-124-100 aircraft fleet is fully chartered, which means that our An-225, with a payload of up to 250 tons, is also now actively in demand for urgent logistics tasks for our clients.”

    Construction of an industrial park has commenced in Lviv. Sparrow Capital Investment has laid the foundation of the park. “The project, which aims to build 100,000 square meters will be a boost to the local economy, employment in the region, the investors involved, and the Lviv community”, said Director of Sparrow Capital Maxim Chuhen.
     H&M will open its first store in Lviv on October 28, 2021, the retailer's press service has reported. The H&M store will be located at Victoria Gardens
