Pertamina Increases LPG Supply for Kotamobagu City
PT Pertamina (Persero) through Marketing Operation Region (MOR) VII increased the supply of 3 kilogram (kg) Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) in a number of cities and districts in North Sulawesi. This is done to anticipate the increasing need for LPG during the month of Ramadan.
Cities and regencies that get additional supply of 3kg LPG include Kotamobagu City, Bolaang Mongondow Regency, East Bolaang Mongondow, South Bolaang Mongondow and North Bolaang Mongondow.
Until April 2020 the average normal supply of 3kg LPG in Kotamobagu City reached 6,478 tubes / day (19.43 Metric Tons (MT) / day), while in Bolaang Mongondow District it reached 4,442 tubes / day (13.32 MT / day) and in Bolaang Mongondow Timur Regency it reaches 1,432 tubes / day (4.29 MT / day). For South Bolaang Mongondow Regency, the average distribution of 3kg LPG reached 1,728 tubes
/ day (5.18 MT / day) and in North Bolaang Mongondow reached 1,702 tubes / day (5.10 MT / day).
The LPG needs for all cities / districts are supplied through the LPG Bulk Filling and Transport Station (SPPBE) in Kotamobagu City. Approximately 780 active bases are scattered in the city / regency.

Pertamina gives fuel cashback promo
Pertamina offers a special offer to city transportation (angkot) in the form of a
50% cashback promo for the purchase of Pertalite and Dexlite. This promotion takes place nationally, including in the North Sulawesi Sales Area and Gorontalo (SulutGo) Marketing Operation Region (MOR) VII of PT Pertamina (Persero).
This promotion is valid every day from
May 3, 2020 to July 31, 2020 which is intended for 10,000 consumers per day without any minimum purchase restrictions. Consumers are also entitled to get the MyPertamina Share Bless lottery coupon, where the draw is conducted every week or month.
This 50% promo for city transportation is valid for consumers who purchase non-cash Pertalite and Dexlite fuels at the Public Fuel Filling Station (SPBU). The maximum cashback that can be obtained by consumers reaches Rp 30,000.

JAPEX starts up Fukushima gas power plant unit
Japan Petroleum Exploration (JAPEX) announced that Fukushima Natural Gas
Power Plant commenced commercial operation of the No.1 unit on April 30, 2020. The power plant has been under construction by Fukushima Gas Power Co., Ltd. (hereinafter “FGP”), which is a project company to promote the project of natural gas-fired power generation at Soma Port
in Shinchi Town, Fukushima Prefecture (hereinafter “the project”) with the business partners including JAPEX.
This power plant uses regasified LNG (Liquefied Natural Gas) for fuel, given a lower environmental burden, and has a generating capacity of 1.18 million kW by two-generation units of GTCC (Gas Turbine Combined-
Cycle) that achieves higher efficiency.
FGP and the business partners decided on
the commercialization of the project and construction of the power plant as the project basis in October 2016. By proceeding with the construction of the plants from October 2017, the No.1 unit achieved the first parallel operation in December 2019.
Since completion of all independent inspection, which is defined by the Electricity Business Act, the No.1 unit of the power plant commenced the commercial operation on April 30, 2020. Along with the commercial operation commencement of the power plant, the operation concerning LNG,
which is procured as the generation fuel by each partner, began on the same day. Such operations are the consignment works for receiving, storage, regasification of LNG, and providing regasified LNG to the power plant, under the contract with FGP.

Australia opens public
consultation on offshore
acreage
Public consultation has opened on potential areas for the 2020 offshore petroleum exploration acreage release.
Minister for Resources, Water and Northern Australia Keith Pitt said 49 areas have been nominated by the oil and gas industry offshore from Western Australia, Northern Territory, Victoria and the Territory of the Ashmore and Cartier Islands.
“We have received numerous and diverse nominations from petroleum exploration and production companies and the seismic industry,” Minister Pitt said.
