OFZ sales in its weekly auctions. So far in 2019 RUB1.46 trillion worth of OFZ were already sold, leaving another RUB780bn to be auctioned.
Reuters estimates that the ministry would have to sell RUB27bn of OFZs on average in 21 auctions remaining this year. Analysts surveyed by Reuters estimated that the ministry would have to borrow about RUB16bn, given expectations of weaker ruble rate, beating the plan on foreign Eurobond borrowings, and giving up Eurobond buyback plans this year.
