The surplus of the national budget of Ukraine in January-October 2017 amounted to UAH1.4bn due to the surplus for the special fund of UAH27.7bn because of special confiscation in the amount of about UAH30bn in April this year, the State Treasury has stated.
The deficit of the general fund of the budget in the ten months of this year amounted to UAH26.3bn , according to its data. In October the national budget posted a deficit of UAH13.6bn, including UAH12.6bn in the general fund, which is UAH23.47bn and UAH22.8bn respectively less than the September figures. The State Treasury said the projected deficit for 2017 is UAH80.89bn, including UAH62.33bn for the general fund.
Ukraine parliament, the Verkhovna Rada, greenlighted the nation's state budget for 2018 in the in first reading on November 14.
