It was found that the democracts outnumber the imperialists by 54% to 46% in the 18-44 years old group, but older Russians are more prone to be imperialists in a 60%-40% split.
Surprisingly those with a higher education are more likely to be democrats than those with by a wide margin.
Imperialists were more supportive of Russia’s policies to Ukraine than democrats.
· 15% of “democrats” and 66% of “imperials” approve of the policy towards Ukraine (29% were undecided);
· 47% of “democrats” and 8% of “imperials” (27% undecided) do not approve of the policy towards Ukraine;
· 38% of “democrats” and 26% of “imperials” (44% were undecided) found it difficult to name their attitude.
