RIL awards Worley a PMC services contract
Intecsea Inc, a wholly owned subsidiary
of Worley, has been awarded a project management consultancy (PMC) contract by Reliance Industries Limited for the MJ Field deep-water gas and condensate project.
Under the contract, INTECSEA Inc will provide PMC services for the development of Reliance’s subsea gas and condensate resource located in deep water of approximately 1,000 meters in the MJ Field o shore of India. e contract covers the engineering, procurement and construction phases and involves subsea facilities and o shore processing using a oating production storage and o oading facility and existing gas trunk line.

Kerala seeks fishing boat conversion
Expressions of interest (EOI) are sought for the conversion of a 325hp shing vessel in India’s Kerala from diesel to dual fuel, of LNG and diesel. e document from the local government was issued on August 12, with
a completion period of 18 weeks. Interested parties should submit an EOI to Petronet LNG’s Kochi LNG terminal by September 7.
e Kerala Development and Innovation Strategic Council (K-DISC) wishes to promote use of LNG as fuel in the shing
sector. For this purpose it has been decided to initiate, as a pilot project, retro t of an existing marine diesel engine system to enable it operate on Dual fuel (LNG + Diesel). K-DISC has constituted a procurement committee
for selecting suitable vendor to plan and implement the modi cation as per the scope mentioned herein this EOI document. is enquiry is being promulgated so as to know the company and ascertain nancial and technical strengths of the interested parties.
Work shall have to be performed by
the selected party on turnkey basis. It
shall include, amongst others, complete design, installation, execution and testing

Pertamina unaffected by refinery fire
e Indonesian government has said state- owned Pertamina’s operations were not disrupted by a re at its Re nery Unit V (RU V) in Balikpapan on August 15.
“It was a minor re, so it did not a ect Pertamina’s production,” the Energy and Mineral Resources Ministry’s acting Director General for Oil and Natural Gas, Djoko Suswanto, said the same day. He added that the company had managed to control the re at one of RU V’s pipes.
Pertamina’s vice president of corporate communications, Fajriyah Usman, said there had been no fatalities in the.
Sinanju inks time charter
agreement for Singapore’s
first LNG
Sinanju Logistics Services, the tanker operating arm of Sinanju Tankers Holdings entered into a two-year time charter agreement on 25 July with ExxonMobil Asia Paci c for a new-build bunker tanker ve months ahead of commencing operations.
e 7,990 dwt newbuilding, soon to be christened “Marine Vicky”, will be the rst bunker tanker for Singapore and Sinanju, to be powered mainly by lique ed natural gas (LNG).
e deal will commit “Marine Vicky”
to delivering ExxonMobil’s new EMF.5TM Engineered Marine Fuels to ocean-going vessels within Singapore port limits from
the rst quarter of next year (2020). is will help ensure that ExxonMobil’s customers can bunker the high quality, compliant options they need.
Under the Maritime Singapore Green
Port Programme, registered vessels that are serviced by alternative or cleaner marine fuelled harbour cra s during their port stay – such as receiving bunker from LNG-powered bunker tankers – stand to receive a 10 per cent port dues concession.
Marine Vicky is a 103-metre long 19-m wide bunker tanker classed by Bureau Veritas. She is equipped with a 55m3 LNG tank paired with a fuel gas supply system on deck for engine propulsion. She is being built at Keppel O shore & Marine’s shipyard in Nantong, China, under the the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore’s LNG bunkering pilot programme.
e vessel will join Sinanju’s 13-vessel bunker eet in December 2019. SINANJU, August 16, 2019
Pertamina updates on oil spill operations
Pertamina Upstream O shore Northwest Java (PHE ONWJ) is seeking to minimise oil spills on the Karawang Coastal Coast, Bekasi and the ousand Islands.
e speed of handling at the source of the oil spill, does not necessarily stop the rate of spread of oil spills to the beach. So, the oil combat team on land must move quickly.
