Needing to rethink
The year started with an LNG price spike that came as a warning sign to
Asian buyers of the fuel.
Gas goal
China said in July it would now target a 12% share of natural gas in its
primary energy mix in 2030, down from a previous goal of 15%.
Limited interest
India’s oil and gas bid round, which closed in October, failed to garner
interest from foreign investors.
FID plan
Harbour Energy said it is targeting a final investment decision on its Tuna
discovery offshore Indonesia in 2023.
