Wildberries has launched a pilot project for direct sales from foreign markets, offering goods from sellers from Belarus, Kazakhstan and China which have been made available to Russians. “In the future, the online retailer plans to connect manufacturers from the European Union and other countries where it already works to the project,” the company said. “To date, the online retailer, in addition to Russia, is represented in 13 more countries around the world, including the USA, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, etc.” The delivery of goods from sellers to buyers in other countries will be carried out both by Wildberries' own logistics service (for example, in Belarus and Kazakhstan) and via international logistics partners (in China and other countries).
Chinese social media site TikTok was fined $35,000 for failing to delete posts calling on young people to participate in illegal demonstrations, RAPSI reported on June 29. Moscow’s Tagansky District Court on Tuesday upheld a fine in the amount of RUB2.6mn rubles ($35,000) imposed on TikTok social network after it was ordered to delete the posts. In April, a magistrate court found the network guilty of breaching the order of restriction of access to information.

Russia’s leading mobile company Mobile TeleSystems (MTS) acquired 100% of Multiregional TransitTelecom (MTT) for RUB5bn ($68.3mn), a top 10 Russian telecoms company that is aleading provider of intelligent connectivity solutions for businesses, the company announced on June 29. Beyond offering traditional B2B/B20 telecom interconnect services, MTT is a major player in the promising communications-platform-as-service (CPaaS) space, MTS said in a press release.

On 2 June, Vedomosti published an interview with the CEO of Enel Russia, Stephane Zweguintzow. We note the following messages.
● Selling Reftinskaya GRES was a difficult decision, as the company lost 40% of its EBITDA, to be replaced only after two wind farms (Azovskaya and Kolskaya) start operating from 2023 (the company has already invested RUB 18bn in these projects). At the same time, the company believes that more pressure to reduce the use of coal-fired generation will come, and that renewables will become cheaper in Russia (as they are now more costly than in other countries due to localisation and limited targets for volumes) and thus more competitive.
