Turkey’s budget deficit was recorded at Turkish lira (TRY) 140.6bn ($20.9bn) in January-September,its Treasury and Finance Ministry saidon October 15.
Turkey maycut its corporate tax rate to as low as 15%from 22%. Turkish sovereign “wealth” fund’s (TVF) short-term liabilities roseto
TRY952bn in 2019from TRY758bn in 2019, according to its financial report.
The fund’s equity stood at TRY235bn.
The report also showed that TVF’s financial expenses grew to TRY7.54bn last year from TRY4.6bn in 2018. General and administrative expenses of the fund increased more than 30% over the year to amount to TRY19bn.
