Pertamina opens 62 LPG outlets
PT Pertamina (Persero) now provides 62 Bright Gas Home Delivery outlets around the Bekasi Kodya area to Purwakarta and Subang. The inauguration was done symbolically in Purwakarta, where in the district there were 8 Bright Gas Home Delivery outlets available.
“This service is our persuasive effort to increase public interest in non-subsidized liquefied petroleum gas. With the delivery service, non-subsidized LPG consumers can order gas more practical, comfortable, and safe, “said Karawang Retail Sales Manager Teuku Desky Arifin on the sidelines of the Bright Gas Home Delivery Launching activity.
In addition to 8 outlets in Purwakarta, Desky added, other Home Delivery outlets are as follows: Bekasi Kodya 15 outlets; Kab, Bekasi 16 outlets; Kab, Karawang 13 outlets; Kab, Subang 10 outlets.
Desky revealed, ordering non-subsidized LPG was done through Pertamina Call Center 135, where, later the nearest LPG agent would deliver Bright Gas to the location that consumers wanted. Bright Gas will also be available at several Pertamina outlets and gas stations. Launching Bright Gas Home Delivery is carried out at one of the outlets, Q-Gas. Q-Gas
is a pilot LPG Bright Gas sales outlet and one of the best agents in the Purwakarta area. As a form of support, Pertamina also provides a motorbike to Q-Gas for the needs of the Bright Gas delivery service to consumers.

Pertamina launches refinery EPC competition
Pertamina has signed the RDMP RU VI Balongan Phase I Dual Feed Competition (DFC) procurement contract at Pertamina Headquarters. The signing was carried out by Ignatius Tallulembang Director of the Processing and Petrochemical Megaproject with the Director of the RRE Consortium and the JSW Consortium witnessed by Nicke Widyawati, Pertamina’s Managing Director and Basuki Tjahaja Purnama, Pertamina’s Chief Commissioner.
The REE Consortium includes Rekayasa Industri, Rekayasa Engineering, and Enviromate Technology International. The JSW consortium includes JGC Indonesia, Synergy Engineering, and Wijaya Karya. Where the two consortia
will compete to create Front End Engineering, the best design that will be implemented in the Balongan Phase 1 RU VI RDMP project.
Dual FEED Competition is a contract strategy that compares two or more Front
End Engineering Design (FEED) practices where later the Procurement Engineering and Construction (EPC) contract will be awarded to the FEED winner.
Nicke Widyawati revealed in her remarks, “It is very good that we have just seen the signing that became history for Pertamina
and Indonesia. This is the first time in the construction of a refinery using this scheme, in order to build refineries faster. With this scheme the Phase 1 Balongan RDMP RU VI can be completed faster which is 2.5 years. We believe we can provide good performance. The
process is quite challenging and rigorous, we start from Balongan and will be applied in the next refinery. The second stage is Balikpapan then Plaju, Dumai, and Cilacap. We will also go to another refinery. Congratulations again to the two elected consortia “.

CSSC and DNV GL sign
new strategic cooperation
agreement
CSSC, the largest shipbuilding group in
the world, has entered into a new strategic partnership with DNV GL. A framework agreement between both parties was signed during Marintec China trade fair last week by Mr. Qian Jianping, Vice President of CSSC, and Norbert Kray, Regional Manager for Greater China at DNV GL – Maritime. The ceremony was witnessed by Remi Eriksen, Group President & CEO of DNV GL, CSSC Chairman Mr. Lei Fanpei, and CSSC Group President Mr. Yang Jincheng.
The strategic partnership will focus
on developing future-proof solutions and competencies for shipping in a variety of fields including alternative fuels and environmentally friendly technologies, new vessel designs to meet the IMO greenhouse gas targets, digitalization and cyber security. Other areas of research and exchange are the design and building of large offshore floating structures, deep sea mining and agriculture, and ocean research activities. Under the agreement, DNV GL will support CSSC in their project engineering, construction and installation process by offering classification, certification, verification, consultancy,
software and joint development services to the shipbuilding group.

JERA announces start of
Freeport LNG’s commercial
operation
The Freeport LNG Project in Texas, the United States, has started commercial operation for its first liquefaction train on 8 December 2019. Osaka Gas Co. and JERA participate in the Project through FLNG Liquefaction (FLIQ1).
FLIQ1 made its final investment decision in the Train1 in October 2014. The Project will produce LNG for export from natural gas procured in the United States. The project
