building in the center of Kyiv. The auction will be held on December 9 on the OpenMarket site to sell two assets. The first asset for sale is a residential building in Kyiv with a total area of 1,214 square meters, with a starting price of UAH 8 mln ($296,000). The building is located in the central district of Pechersk. The second asset for sale is a complex of commercial property, equipment and production facilities located in the village of Sokolivske in the Kirovohrad region. Kalush CHP was sold for UAH800mn. The State Property Fund has sold the Kalush CHP at a privatization auction for UAH801mn ($29.7mn). Constanza won the tender, announced Prozorro.Sales. The starting price was UAH230mn, with 7 companies taking part in the auction. According to YouControl, Constanza LLC was registered in the village of the Reed Donetsk region in 2015.
The Prozorro auction site contributed a record ₴57 mln in taxes and dividends to Ukraine’s budget. In an announcement from the Ministry of Economy, in the first nine months of 2021 Prozorro. Sales paid a record ₴57.3 ($2.17mln) in taxes and dividends to the state budget. Of these, ₴8.9 mln ($338,000) was income tax, ₴17 mln ($646,000) as value-added tax, and ₴31.4 mln ($1.19 mln) is part of the net profit of the state enterprise.
22% of Ista-Center to be privatized. The starting price is UAH13.8mn ($530,000), and the asset includes more than 19 buildings with a total area of 23,796 square meters, located on 4.57 hectares of land. The main activity of Ista-Center is the production of batteries and accumulators. The sales volume in 2018-2020 was over UAH700mn ($26.7mn).
The Electronmash plant was sold at auction for UAH970mn, according to Prozorro.sales. The winner of the Auction paid UAH970mn ($37mn) with a starting price of UAH66.7mn ($2.5mn). According to the results of the third round, the participant who offered UAH970mn for the property complex was Lorten Group. The owner and head of the company is Oleg Pichenevsky from Nikopol.
Some 30 distilleries have been privatized at online auctions since October 2020 for over UAH1.7bn, of which UAH1.05bn has already been paid by investors to the state budget of Ukraine, the State Property Fund of Ukraine (SPF) said on Facebook.
"Today we can say with confidence that the demonopolization of the alcohol industry in Ukraine has taken place! At transparent auctions, 30 distilleries were privatized for over UAH1.7bn, of which UAH1.05bn has already been paid by investors to the state budget, another UAH37mn were received as penalties and guarantee fees for refusing the results of the auction," deputy head of the agency Taras Yeleiko said.
According to the SPF, a year ago, Ukraine, together with Belarus, were the only countries in the world with state monopolies on production of alcohol, but the reform in the industry, which started on July 1, 2020, gave a powerful incentive for its development.
