The new phase of Ocean Mall is being prepared for commissioning in early 2022. The opening scheduled to be in the second quarter of 2022, announced the developer, the Director of the Mandarin Plaza group, Oleksandr Chernytsky, (Interfax). The new phase of Ocean Mall has the theme of a retail resort with a total area is 300,000 sqm, of which 110,000 sqm is leasable space, and parking for an additional 4,000 cars.
Respublika Park, a shopping mall with ambitions to be Ukraine’s largest, opened Friday at Teremky, the southern terminus of the Blue Metro line. With a gross leasable area of 135,000 square meters, Respublika plans to have 500 shops with a Brazil-themed Silpo supermarket as the anchor tenant. There is a 15-screen Multiplex theater, 50 restaurants, a wind tunnel for free flight, an indoor roller coaster, a digital-amusement park, and a 2,000 square meter winter garden named ‘Oasis.’ After opening with a 61% tenant occupancy rate, “we can say with confidence that 79% of the space will be opened by the end of the year,” Yuliia Shchaslyva, CEO of Respublika, tells the Ukraine Retailers Assocation. Expecting to employ 5,000 people, the ‘super-regional shopping mall’ has parking for 3,500 cars. It is located at the intersection of the Kyiv Ring Road and the Kyiv-Odesa Highway.
Dragon Capital plans to complete the construction of a dry warehouse complex. The first stage of M10 Lviv Industrial Park in Lviv will be completed in the third quarter of 2022, reported the company's press office The total area of the warehouse complex on a 2.7-hectare site will be 14,400 square meters. This will be part of an overall concept to develop six warehouse and industrial premises with a total area of 140,000 square meters, in an industrial park.
One of the largest shopping malls in Europe has opened in Kyiv. On November 12, the Respublika Park shopping mall opened with a total area of 300,000 square meters in Teremky. With a net usable space of 135,000 square meters, the mall is considered to be one of the largest European innovative shopping and entertainment centers. The investors were both local and international, with the participation of an Austrian investor. According to the Austrian Ambassador to Ukraine, Gernot Pfandler, the investor from Austria invited representatives of 40 Austrian companies to open the center to acquaint them with Ukraine and investment opportunities in Kyiv.
