5.1.2 Gross intl reserves
Turkey's central bank has sold $269mn to government-run natural gas importer Botas in June for the first time since December 2020, data from the central bank showed on July 7.
Since December 2014, the central bank has sold a total of $45bn to Botas to subsidise domestic natural gas prices with providing Botas with cheaper FX.
In 2015, the highest amount of $10.5bn was sold to Botas.
