Job cuts
A number of oil and gas companies have warned of looming job cuts in
North America, as well as elsewhere in the world.
Pipeline outage
Inter Pipeline has shut down a segment of the Polaris pipeline system, which
carries light oil to oil sands facilities in Alberta to be used as diluent.
Changing hands
Oilfield services giant Schlumberger has agreed to offload its North
American hydraulic fracturing business to Liberty Oilfield Services.
Net zero
Shale driller Range Resources and pipeline operator Williams have both set
themselves deadlines for achieving net zero greenhouse gas emissions.
