First time registrations of used imported cars were up 50% y/y in October, to 38,800 cars, reports UkrAutoprom, the vehicle industry association. Registrations of new imported cars totalled 8,400 – or 22% of the used car number. So far this year, 281,100 used imports have been registered. With Germany and other EU countries restricting diesel cars, the portion of diesel imports to Ukraine rose to 29% last month. Gasoline accounted for 58%. Electric and hybrids were 3%.

The number of passengers served by Ukrainian transport companies in January-October 2020 decreased by 53.7% (2.2 times) compared with the relevant period in 2019, to 41.8bn passenger-kilometres, the State Statistics Service announced on November 23. Over the reporting period, 2.13 passengers used the services of domestic transport companies, which is 39.8% less compared with January-October 2019.
Rebuilding Dnipro airport will get one third of $157mn of budget money dedicated to upgrading airports next year, Infrastructure Minister Vladyslav Krikliy writes on Facebook. Other money will go to selecting a site for a new airport for Zakarpattia region. With four sites under consideration, the goal is to move flights away from the current airport, located on Ukraine’s international border with Slovakia.
