8.1.2 Loans
The corporate loan portfolio grew by RUB208bn in November , the increase was about 0.5%, which is two times lower than in October and corresponds to the average monthly rate 2019. The increase was mainly accounted for by systemically important credit institutions.
The retail portfolio grew moderately in November - by 131bn rubles. (+ 0.7%), but this amount is lower, as Sberbank carried out the securitization of mortgage loans in the amount of about 200bn rubles. Adjusted growth was 1.7%, which corresponds to the dynamics of last months. Sberbank provided loans to the population more actively (+ 1.8%) than other large banks from the top 100 (+ 1.3%).
The growth of consumer loans in November, according to surveys, also slightly slowed down (+ 1.2%) compared to October (+ 1.5%), which may be due to the growth of uncertainty laziness due to the worsening epidemic situation.
