ExxonMobil’s worldwide LNG portfolio on a 15-year charter contract.
Prior to this, MISC, through the same subsidiaries have also signed an agreement with Samsung Heavy Industries (SHI) for the construction of the LNG carriers in Korea. e vessels will have a capacity of 174,000 cubic metres (cbm) and will feature state-of- the-art technologies including modern XDF propulsion, Mark III Flex Plus containment system and full re-liquefaction facility for higher e ciencies and to meet the demand for worldwide trading and long-haul voyages. e LNG carriers are expected to be delivered in the rst quarter of 2023.

joint study agreement with
Mitsui OSK Lines
Transborders Energy is pleased to announce it has entered into a Joint Study Agreement with Mitsui OSK Lines (MOL) to together continue the development of its oating LNG (FLNG) Solution and to pursue its deployment on
a range of stranded o shore gas resource opportunities.
Transborders’ FLNG Solution provides
a pre-determined 1.3 MTPA FLNG development concept with a package of streamlined commercial & regulatory approval framework (including LNG buyers) to gas resource owners.

terms of the FLNG Solution with existing/ cornerstone study partner Kyushu Electric Power, TechnipFMC and Add Energy; and pursue the deployment of the FLNG Solution on stranded gas resource opportunities.
Upon completion of the Transborders’ FLNG solution development work at the end of 2019, Transborders will be in a position to convert a range of stranded gas resources into ‘project sanction (FID) ready’ state within
24 months a er FLNG solution deployment, while also allowing LNG buyers access to competitive LNG supply sources.
Transborders’ FLNG solution development work has obtained in March 2018 “major project” designation from the Australian federal government.

Maintenance at Australia’s
North West Shelf LNG
facility ongoing
Maintenance at the North West Shelf LNG plant in Australia is ongoing, a spokesman for operator Woodside Petroleum told Reuters on October 7.
e maintenance has been extended a er initially being scheduled to run from September 5 until October 1. It was not con rmed whether it had been extended, or simply delayed.
“An integrated turnaround campaign is being undertaken at the North West Shelf project,” the spokesman said. He added
that the turnaround involved LNG Train 5, fractionation, the North Rankin complex and North Rankin Train 2 but declined to say when it was now due to be completed.
“If there is any material impact to Woodside’s 2019 production guidance, it will be communicated in line with our market disclosure requirements,” the spokesman said.

in TTF and JKM trading
Amid the liberalisation of lique ed natural gas and the corresponding globalization of natural gas markets, Intercontinental Exchange
(ICE), a leading operator of global exchanges and clearing houses and provider of data
and listings services, today announced new milestones in the trading of the TTF natural gas and JKM LNG (Platts) contracts.
In September, TTF Futures and Options hit an all-time monthly volume record of more than two million lots (2,023,848), equivalent to 1,484 TWh. TTF Futures set a new daily volume record on September 10 of 193,695 lots, equivalent to 142.1 TWh. TTF is the most liquid European natural gas benchmark, followed by ICE’s UK Natural Gas Futures
