Ukraine earned 41% more from electricity exports last year, sending $332mn worth to its western neighbors, reports the State Fiscal Service. The top three customers were: Hungary -- $190mn; Poland -- $79mn; and Moldova - $53mn. Exports are estimated at 6bn kwh, up 15% from last year.

Ukraine’s steel crude production stabilized at 21mn tons in 2018, down 1.4% from 21.3mn tons in 2017. Finished steel production was flat last year, reaching 18.4mn, reports Interfax-Ukraine.
