He added that he is not going to leave his post. "I need this post to achieve the goals I have talked about, and I hope that the rule of law, a civilized approach and corporate governance principles that were laid in the last five years, they will win in this situation," Kobolev said.
2.3   TI ranks 100 Ukrainian cities by corruption
Corruption watchdog Transparency International (TI) has   ranked 100 Ukrainian cities  by the level of corruption in each, the NGO reported last week.
The most corrupt cities in the country in 2018 are Drohobych (85.2 points out of 100), Mariupol (76.4), Vinnytsia (70.3), Pokrov (68), and Dnipro (66.6), the NGO reports.
These results were completely different from last year’s where the leaders included: Lviv, Kropyvnytskyi, Ivano-Frankivsk, Mykolaiiv and Kyiv.
“The city ranking was compiled based on 91 indicators in 13 accountability areas. We took into account budgeting and finance, procurement, housing and communal policies, education, social services, information on the work of local authorities etc. Detailed information can be found on the website transparentcities.in.ua,” TI said in a statement.
“The general transparency level across 100 cities has increased from almost 30% in 2017 to over 41% in 2018. In 2018, 27 Ukrainian cities scored more than 50 points, an increase from 6 cities in 2017,” TI added.
