conglomerates, Sabanci Holding, and Japan’s Bridgestone Corporation, will on March 30 distribute a TRY0.69 per share net dividend.
Borsa Istanbul added local conglomerate Anadolu Holding’s brewing unit Anadolu Efes (AEFES) and beverage unit Coca Cola Icecek (CCOLA) to the BIST Dividend 25 (XTM25) index.
Sabanci Holding (SAHOL) along with its grid operating unit Enerjisa (ENJSA), textile unit Kordsa (KORDS) and insurance unit Aksigorta (AKGRT) will also be added into the index.
Retailer BIM (BIMAS) and GSM operator Turkcell (TCELL) will also be among the components of the index.
New companies were added to the index on March 1. The next index reshuffle will take place on January 31, 2022.
Energy companies Tupras (TUPRS) and Aygaz (AYGAZ) along with airport operator Tav (TAVHL) were excluded from the index as these industries have been in trouble since last year.
Borsa Istanbul adds companies that have distributed cash dividends in the last three years to the BIST Dividend (XTMTU) index. The top 25 companies based on the market value of listed shares are included in the BIST Dividend 25.
Enerjisa Enerji (ENJSA), a 50:50 JV between Turkey’s second largest industrial group Sabanci Holding and Germany’s E.ON, will on April 9 distribute a 7% gross dividend per share.
Coca Cola Icecek (CCOLA), controlled by local conglomerate Anadolu Group (AGHOL), will on May 27 distribute a 3% gross dividend per share.
