Over half of Russians or 51% believe that the ruling party needs to regularlychange,V edomostidailyreportedcitingthesurveyofVTSION pollster and the Institute of parliamentarian development Beautiful United Russia of the Future. About a third (37%) of the respondents believe that the ruling party should not change. As reported by bne IntelliNews, another recent survey showed that the share of Russians that support "decisive" change in the country increased over past two years from 42% to 52%. Most of the respondents that support the change of the ruling party are Muscovites (71%) or active internet users (57%). Among the supporters of the pro-Kremlin United Russia party 25% still support the change of power. Two thirds of Russians believe that Russia should have a ruling political party, and 25% do not believe this is necessary. 87% believe that such party should have an ideology and 69% see it responsible for all actions and decision of the ruling class and authorities.
The number of Russians eligible for bankruptcy has passed one million
for the first time in history, research by a credit ratings agency has shown. Russians can declare bankruptcy if they have debts of at least RUB500,000 ($7,800) and are more than 90 days behind in their repayment schedule. For comparison, the average Russian income is around RUB45,000 per month ($700). The National Bureau of Credit Histories said 1.03mn Russians meet those criteria, up 5% from the previous year.
