Qatari deals
Two separate LNG-related deals have been announced this week, involving
Qatargas and its parent company, Qatar Petroleum.
Long-term potential
Royal Dutch Shell’s annual LNG outlook shows that demand for the fuel was
resilient last year despite the pandemic, and further growth is expected.
Damietta restart
Italy’s Eni announced this week that the first cargo since 2012 from the
Damietta LNG plant in Egypt had been produced and lifted.
Declaring emissions
Singapore’s Pavilion Energy has signed an LNG supply agreement with
Chevron, with deliveries to be accompanied by a declaration of greenhouse
gas emissions.
