                 The Turkish garment industry is targeting more than $20bn in exports in 2021.
Turkey’s ferrous and non-ferrous metals sector exported $7.56bn of products from January-November, a trade group said on December 8.
Turkey exported around 30mn tonnes of cement, collecting nearly $1bn in revenues, in 2020.
Turkish fruit and vegetable industry’s exports rose by 21% to $2.7bn in 2020.
Turkey exported $2bn worth of 280,924 tonnes of hazelnuts in 2020. Turkey’s defence and aerospace exports declined by 14.8% y/y to $2.3bn
in 2020.
In 2020, Turkey’s exports to the US increased 12.2% to $8.8bn while exports to China rose by 2.8% to $2.6bn.

                Turkey’s current account deficit jumped to $4.06bn in November. The market consensus forecast was for around $3.7bn.
The 12-month running cumulative deficit rose to $38bn.
