TechnipFMC awarded subsea contracts for Anadarko’s Mozambique LNG
technipFMC has been awarded a number of subsea contracts by Anadarko Moçambique Área 1, Lda, a wholly owned subsidiary of Anadarko Petroleum, for its Mozambique Gol nho/Atum development.
technipFMC was awarded a major contract for the engineering, procurement, construction and installation (EPCI) of the subsea hardware system through its wholly owned UAE incorporated subsidiary, technip Middle East FZCO. technipFMC will execute the o shore installation scope with its consortium partner Van Oord, through their wholly owned UAE incorporated subsidiary, Van Oord Gulf FZE, and in co-operation with strategic major subcontractor, Allseas.
In addition, technipFMC has been awarded separate contracts under its wholly owned US incorporated subsidiary FMCtI (FMC technologies), to provide subsea hardware in support of well construction and the EPCI scope.

Oceaneering awarded contract to supply umbilicals and distribution hardware for Mozambique LNG Project
Oceaneering International, Inc. (“Oceaneering”) (NYSE:OII) announced
that it has been awarded a contract by Anadarko Moçambique Área 1, Lda, a wholly owned subsidiary of Anadarko Petroleum Corporation, to supply umbilicals, distribution hardware, and a ermarket services.
e multiple lengths of onshore and subsea steel tube control umbilicals total approximately 115 miles (185 kilometers) in length. e distribution hardware to be provided includes umbilical termination assemblies, hydraulic and chemical distribution units, electrical distribution
units, ying leads, junction plates,
ROV yable large-bore connectors, and a ermarket services in support of installation. Manufacture of the umbilicals and distribution hardware is scheduled to occur
at the Oceaneering facilities in Panama City, Florida and Houston, texas; and is expected to commence in the third quarter of 2019 and be completed in the third quarter of 2021.

ExxonMobil backs
USAID programmes in
Mozambique
ExxonMobil and the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) said today that ExxonMobil will provide US$3 million to USAID to design and administer programmes that improve social and economic development in Mozambique.
e collaboration was announced by Administrator Mark Green at the 2019 Corporate Council on US-Africa Business Summit. “ is e ort will leverage the combined expertise and capabilities of USAID and ExxonMobil to implement sustainable programs that lead to improved quality of life,” said Liam Mallon, president of ExxonMobil Upstream Oil & Gas Company.
Since 2018, ExxonMobil has invested more than US$3 million in community programs that promote improved education, health care, family empowerment, agriculture and biodiversity conservation across Mozambique. ese contributions include more than US$400,000 in emergency assistance e orts in response to cyclones Idai and Kenneth.
ExxonMobil holds a 25% indirect interest in Mozambique Area 4 concession and
will lead the construction and operation of
the future onshore natural gas liquefaction facilities in Cabo Delgado’s Agfungi peninsula. In addition, ExxonMobil holds joint rights to operate the Angoche basin (A5-B) and the Zambezi Delta (Z5-C and Z5-D) concessions. ExxonmobIl, june 19, 2019
