Urging restraint
US crude prices are up at $53 per barrel, but leading shale drillers have said
they will proceed with restraint, and have urged their peers to do the same.
Permission to proceed
Summit Midstream Partners has been granted its notice to proceed with
construction of the Double E gas pipeline in the Permian Basin.
Investment up
The Canadian Association of Petroleum Producers expects investment in
upstream oil and gas in the country to rise by 14% in 2021.
