19% stake in Russian operator MegaFon
Telecom major Telia will sell its remaining 19% stake in Russian mobile operator MegaFon, the company said on October 31.

Now a 19% stake in the company will be sold to Russian bank Gazprom- bank at RUB514 per share, with a 10% discount to the market.
The total amount paid by the bank stands at $1.03bn. "While Gazprombank might be acting on its own, we think it is more likely that the bank is representing a strategic investor in MegaFon," VTB Capital commented on October 31.
