 Rosgeo says can offer
debut bonds in August–
December 2021
Russian state geological exploration company Rosgeo can place offer bonds
in August–December 2021 if the market situation is favorable, the company said in a statement on August 6 citing CEO Sergei Gorkov.
The central bank earlier registered the issue for placement under a private subscription among qualified investors.
Rosgeo plans to spend the funds on continuation of upgrade and development, Gorkov said.
Gazprom Dobycha Yamburg
plans 2021 gas production
at 156 bcm
Gazprom Dobycha Yamburg, the largest subsidiary of Russian gas giant Gazprom, plans to produce 156bn cubic metres
of natural gas and 3.3mn tonnes of gas condensate in 2021, CEO Oleg Arno told reporters on August 4.
“Annual production for 2021 is planned
at 156bn cubic meters (of gas) and 3.3mn tonnes of gas condensate,” he said.
The company has already outperformed the plan making the actual production in 2021 possibly higher, he said.
Gazprom Dobycha Yamburg operates in the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous District, and its capacities allow it to produce around 180 bcm of gas and more than 5 million tonnes of gas condensate per year. The company accounts for about 20% of Russia’s combined gas output.
Russia ranks second by
petroleum exports to US in
May 2021
Russia became second by total petroleum exports to the United States in May
2021, with record-breaking deliveries totaling 26.17mn barrels, the US Energy Information Administration (EIA) reported on August 6, according to TASS.
The previous record was set in May 2009, when Russia delivered crude oil and petroleum products to the US totaling 25.08mn barrels.
Canada tops the list of petroleum exporters to the US in May with 125.75mn barrels and Mexico is third, with 22.56mn
barrels).
Russian petroleum products account
for the bulk of deliveries to the US. Crude oil export amounted to just 8.6mn barrels but is at the same time the all-time high figure since June 2011. Russia ranks third in terms of oil export after Canada (109.86mn barrels) and Mexico (18.59mn barrels).
Russian export of crude oil and petroleum products to the US surged almost 2.5-fold year-on-year in May 2021, including oil supplies alone soaring by 65 times.
Total crude oil imports by the US equaled 180.65mn barrels in May 2021, up 6.1mn barrels against April..
