The top ten Russia’s import suppliers from Europe in the first quarter quarter of 2018 were Germany (10.8932% of Russia’s total imports), Belarus (5.3452%), France (4.6293%), Italy (4.3422%), Ukraine (2.3400%), Poland (2.0970%), the United Kingdom (1.7981%), the Czech Republic (1.5428%), the Netherlands (1.5394%), and Finland (1.4803%).
The most notable changes in Russia's trade with the countries of Europe in the first quarter quarter of 2018 over the first quarter quarter of 2017:
The share of France in Russia’s total exports declined from 2.0052% in the first quarter quarter of the 2017 to 1.6067% in the first quarter quarter of the 2018; The share of Latvia in Russia’s total exports declined from 1.9324% in the first quarter quarter of the 2017 to 1.0869% in the first quarter quarter of the 2018; The share of Switzerland in Russia’s total exports declined from 1.1624% in the first quarter quarter of the 2017 to 0.6472% in the first quarter quarter of the 2018;
The share of Austria in Russia’s total exports rose 2.3-fold from 0.4044% in the first quarter quarter of the 2017 to 0.9183% in the first quarter quarter of the 2018;
The share of France in Russia’s total imports rose from 3.6066% in the first quarter quarter of the 2017 to 4.6293% in the first quarter quarter of the 2018. first quarter
