optimized quality control and supply-chain management. Nationwide, ENN is operating 187 project cities that cover a connectible urban population of 94.57 million in China.
e composition, calori c value, and gasi cation rate of LNG vary depending on sources and processing, given that, to ensure quality and safety, it’s essential to keep track
of the relevant data in a timely and accurate manner. For the same reason, gas pressure changes during transportation and the time of arrival shall also be recorded. Traditionally, the data are recorded by di erent personnel on the supply chain and transmitted through various communication tools manually, which is time- consuming and vulnerable to human errors.
In this partnership, ENN is responsible for the design and system construction of LNG-related business scenarios. VeChain
is responsible for providing blockchain
core technology and the necessary so ware services. Shanghai Gas is the overseeing party who ensures the solution expands across the national LNG market.
is solution was rst adopted by Zhoushan LNG Storage and Distribution Centre during the rst phase prior to a full rollout.

Taiwan fuel prices cut
Taiwan’s state-run CPC and privately owned Formosa Petrochemical announced on July 28 a drop in fuel prices.
CPC said it would cut gasoline and diesel prices by NT$0.10 per litre, with announcing an identical cut.
CPC gas stations lowered their price for 92 octane unleaded to NT$27.20 per litre, for 95 octane unleaded to NT$28.70 per litre, for 98 octane unleaded to NT$30.70 per litre and for super diesel to NT$25.10 per litre. FPCC stations lowered their prices to NT$27.20, NT$28.60, NT$30.70 and NT$24.90 respectively.
China’s imports of Iranian oil shrink in June
China’s crude oil imports from Iran shrank almost 60% year on year in June to 855,638 tonnes, according to data from the General Administration of Customs (GAC).
Of that total, 670,000 tonnes of Iranian crude oil was unloaded in June at Tianjin in north China and Jinzhou in the northeast, Reuters citing Re nitiv data. e research rm’s data also showed that a further 430,000 tonnes of Iranian crude oil was unloaded at Jinzhou and Huizhou in south China in July.

Strike Energy updates on West Erregulla-2
Since the last update on the 24th of July, Strike has adjusted the mud parameters
to meet the new West Erregulla-2 well conditions and drilled ahead to a nal depth of 4,229m in the second intermediate (10- 5/8”) hole section.
Strike observed continuous strong gas shows and evidence of Wagina sands in the cuttings throughout the nal drilling of the hole section. ese and previous observations have been su cient to con rm the basis
for wireline evaluation across the Wagina formation along with the other formations previously noted from the section.
Following the completion of drilling in
the section, Strike has pulled out of hole with the drilling assembly and has conditioned the hole in preparation for logging activities. Strike has mobilised the Schlumberger wireline unit and a range of logging equipment to site and will commence evaluation of the second intermediate section.
Based on drilling observations Strike
is particularly interested in the following formations (in relative depth): Lesueur (oil & gas shows); Woodada Siltsones (oil & gas shows); Hovea Sandstone /Limestone (gas); and Wagina Sandstone (gas).
Logging is expected to take between 24 and 48 hours, dependent on the number of logs selected.
Strike will then complete its initial interpretation of the evaluation program before commencing to run in hole with the 8-1/2” casing and cementing the second intermediate hole section.

Path now clear for NT
onshore shale gas
exploration
Santos today announced it has received approval for the rst Environmental Management Plan (EMP) to be awarded for onshore shale gas exploration in the Northern Territory since the moratorium was li ed in early 2018.
NT Environment and Natural Resources Minister Eva Lawler approved Santos’ Drilling EMP for the Tanumbirini 2H and Inacumba 1/1H wells in Exploration Permit 161 in the McArthur Basin, east of Daly Waters.
Santos is operator of, and has a 75 per cent interest in, the permit.
Today’s green light for the resumption
of drilling activities in the basin follows last month’s approval of the EMP for civil works at and around the well locations, as well as the acquisition of 2D seismic data.
Santos Managing Director and Chief Executive O cer Kevin Gallagher said approval of the Drilling EMP is an important milestone that clears the way to restart onshore shale gas exploration in the resource- rich McArthur Basin.
“We drilled Tanumbirini 1 in 2014 and liked what we saw, so we are delighted to be in a position to resume exploration drilling,” Mr Gallagher said.
“Local communities desperately need
the jobs, small business opportunities and investment the onshore natural gas industry will bring, and with the new regulatory regime in place to ensure that the environment and water resources are protected, we’ll be moving as quickly as possible and doing our best to beat the approaching wet season.”
Santos is currently completing drilling of the Dukas 1 well in the Amadeus Basin and the next drilling location for the Ensign 965 rig will depend on the rig release date from Dukas 1. SANTOS, July 24, 2019
