                 Quivira
Quivira is the sum of many parts: The 1,850-acre develop- ment, which first debuted (under a different name) in 2003, is home to two resorts, six residential communities, and the Quivira Golf Club. But things are about to get even bigger and better as a number of new properties prepare to open, including the Quivira Beach Club, a new residential development called Mavila, and a St. Regis resort.
WHAT TO KNOW All this develop- ment has Quivira primed for a true luxury upgrade. The com- munity’s 2.5-mile beach and Jack Nicklaus golf course have already been enticing home- buyers, and interest is picking up with the hotly anticipated St. Regis on the horizon. The beachfront resort will add 74 residences to Quivira, plus 120 guest rooms, three restaurants, a wellness center, and multiple swimming pools.
WHAT ELSE Nearly every com- munity in Cabo has a spectac- ular golf course, but this one is a favorite for its beachfront location and stunning views. Quivira’s developer, Ernesto Coppel, has also put sustain- ability front and center with green building practices that go above and beyond the local requirements.
REAL ESTATE In addition to the St. Regis–branded residences,
there are six neighborhoods— Coronado, Copala, Novais- pania, Mavila, Old Light- house Club, and Montecristo Estates—that offer everything from homesites (priced from $2 million) to condos (from $350,000) to townhomes (from $140,000).
