6 INTERIOR ITEMS BUYERS Really Notice
1. Buyers pay extra attention to light and bright homes. Purchase high intensity light bulbs and be sure to clean all lamps and covers.
2. Buyers notice exceptionally clean homes. Do a “spring cleaning” throughout, regardless of the season. Be sure to focus on the following: windows and screens, countertops, appliances, mirrors, ovens, sinks, toilets and showers/tubs.
3. Buyers notice clean carpets and floors. Steam clean carpets and replace or repair damaged areas.
4. Buyers notice spacious rooms. Be sure to de-clutter and arrange furniture and decorations to highlight the room.
5. Buyers notice closet & cabinet space. Neatly arrange everything and get rid of unnecessary items. Buyers do open cabinets and closets.
6. Buyers pay attention to the small details in a home. Fix all the “little things” like leaky faucets, loose or missing handles/knobs, clean or repair caulking areas.
