 National Latin Exam Awards
Each year, the American Classical League issues the National Latin Examinations. The National Latin Exam assesses standard achievement in Latin language and literature through vocabulary, grammar, translation, reading proficiency, and cultural background.

Xiaoxin (Katherine) Wang ’19
was designated as a National AP Scholar, which recognizes
students who attain an average score of at least a 4 on all AP
Exams taken, and scores of 4 or higher on eight or more
exams. Xiaoxin sat for a whopping 15 AP Exams while
a Padua student, passing every one of them with an
average score of nearly 4.5. With this performance, she earned 48 college credits,
a portion of which will count toward her joint chemical engineering
and materials science degree at
the University of California-Berkeley.
