What is the Reunion Gift Challenge? It’s an opportunity to show your
Padua pride!
It’s a time to join together as a community to ensure Padua continues to grow and thrive.
It’s a chance to have a little friendly competition between classes and win the coveted Reunion Challenge Cup.
It’s a time to give back...to pay it forward...to make a Padua Franciscan education a reality for today’s Bruins.

                  Reunion Gift Challenge
The Reunion Gift Challenge program was launched three years ago as a way to encourage alumni celebrating a reunion to compete for the honor of winning the Challenge Cup for either the highest participation or the most dollars raised.
The dollars raised through the program provide tuition assistance for qualified students who would not otherwise afford a Padua education. As part of the Franciscan Fund, the Reunion Gift Challenge program also helps Padua strengthen and sustain its reputation as the premier destination for Catholic, co-education in Northeast Ohio.
All gifts made to the Franciscan Fund from July to mid-May count toward the class challenge. Last year’s Reunion Gift Challenge for the classes ending in 4s and 9s was met with great results, raising $39,591. Congratulations to the Class of 1989 with the most dollars raised of $10,865 and the Class of 1969 with the highest donor participation of 21 percent.
The presentation of the Challenge Cup by President Fr. Allan DaCorte, ofm and Principal David Stec ’86 was a fun part of the reunion activities on Saturday, June 1st. The engraved recognition plaque and the trophy are on display in the school. Thank you to everyone who participated!
Giving is underway to challenge the classes ending in 5s and 0s to beat last year’s numbers as they celebrate their reunions May 30 and 31, 2020. Go to paduafrancican.com/giving/reunion to make your gift today for the 2019-2020 Reunion Gift Challenge!
