Ed Ripepi ’88 and K9 Jett were awarded the 2019 Ohio’s Finest Citizen Support Award from the State of Ohio Fraternal Order of Police for assisting BCI in two major cases this past year.
Dr. Elizabeth Ramos ’88 started a new position at the University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine.

Dr. Katie (Dworznik) Bennett
’97 testified before a U.S. Senate committee about ways to improve primary care access, achieve better health outcomes and reduce unnecessary costs in February 2019. She is a physician at Harborview Senior Care Clinic in Seattle, Washington and the founding Medical Director for UW Medicine’s Project ECHO-Geriatrics program.
Kelly (Kilbane) Preseren ’97 and Erin (Kilbane) Hamad ’00 launched a clothing boutique named Nonna Bea Boutique that can be found on Facebook.

Fr. Larry Janezic, ofm ’69 was named the pastor of St. John the Baptist parish in Joliet, Illinois. Fr. Larry just completed eight years as pastor at Sacred Heart parish and six years at St. Patrick parish, both in Indianapolis, Indiana. He has also been named the Franciscan’s Provincial Director of
the office of Justice, Peace and the Integrity of Creation.
Fr. Dennis Schafer, ofm ’69 was named the pastor of St. Patrick parish in Indianapolis, Indiana. Fr. Dennis is also a member of the Provincial Council of the Sacred Heart Province.

Rick Parschen ’70 won a gold and silver medal at the National Senior Games in Albuquerque, NM. He also won 3 gold medals at the Ohio Senior games this past summer.
1975
Assistant Wrestling Coach Jim McLemore ’75 received the Lifetime Achievement Award from the Greater Cleveland Wrestling Coaches and Officials Association.

are leaders of an outreach ministry Feeding Souls which provides food and Christian community to the hungry
in Cleveland. They operate out of St. Malachi church. Each week they serve between 225 to 275 patrons.
