COUNSELING
• Our counselors help students meet their academic, career, social, personal, and spiritual needs. • Students receive more individual attention:
Our counselor-to-student ratio: 125 students per 1 counselor is much less than the recommended national ratio of 250 students per 1 counselor.
Students have dedicated freshemen counselor and a sophomore counselor. They have the same counselor throughout their junior and senior years.
Our counselors meet regularly with our Campus Ministry, administrators, and the nurses to collaborate
• The college planning process no longer starts in the senior year; counselors provide college planning information to students and parents starting in the freshman year.
• Technology: Naviance/Family Connection
A Web-based service designed especially for students and parents, is a comprehensive website that you can use to help make decision about courses, colleges, and careers.
F ACULTY
• More than half of our faculty members have at least one master’s degree or beyond
• Many of our faculty members teach at the college level at schools including:
Baldwin Wallace University, Cuyahoga Community College, John Carroll University, Kent State University, Notre Dame College, University of Akron, and Ursuline College.
