New Student & Parent OrientationIn August it was time to get freshmen ready to start school at the New Student & Parent Orientation Night. Students received their Chromebooks and valuable information. Parents heard from our Principal and President in the Cafeteria while students socialized in the Gym and learned the Padua fght song and alma mater. Every new student received a “Never Alone, Always a Bruin” T-shirt to wear on the frst day of school as a reminder that they are part of our Bruin family.Grandparents DayOn April 18, grandparents of our freshman students are invited to visit the school and see frsthand what the Padua experience is all about. Tis frst-time gathering will begin with Mass, followed by refreshments, tours of the school, and an opportunity for that special photo with your grandchild. Invitations will be sent in early March. Don’t miss this very special day at Padua with your grandchild!Be a Bruin for a Day!Do you know a student who would like to attend Padua? If you do, then invite them to shadow and be a Bruin for a Day! Each eighth grade student spends the day in classes with a Padua student who shares similar interests. Interested students can register on ourwebsite at paduafranciscan.com/admissions/shadowing/.7th Graders Begin their Journey to Padua In June, 80 seventh grade students participated in High School Placement Test Preparation Class at Padua. Each student received the Master the Catholic High School Entrance Exams study guide book and benefted from course instruction in English and Math. At the end of the week, students took the High School Placement Test. Congratulations to the top scorer, Jefrey Ungarvsky from Saint Charles Borromeo School in Parma, who received a $500 scholarship to Padua! Registration for next year’s High School Placement Test Preparation Class will be available on our website beginning in January. 39
