ENDOWMENT TRUST
The Padua Endowment Trust, founded in 1981, provides funds to support the financial assistance program at Padua Franciscan. The
trust grows through tax- deductible contributions, including gifts of cash, securities and planned
gifts such as life insurance, bequests, charitable lead or charitable remainder
trusts. These funds
are invested in order
to secure the most favorable rate of return.
The endowment trust is managed by an indepen- dent board of endowment trustees who make an annual distribution to the school each year from the Trust.
Numerous benefactors have
established named scholarship funds
within the Padua Franciscan High School Endowment Trust for a variety of charitable purposes, from memorials to inspirational family legacies. These named funds which are tracked separately within the Endowment Trust are established with a minimum gift of $10,000 or more (cash, pledge, proceeds from a realized bequest).
