In January 2017,  e Wall Street Journal featured award-winning chef Andrew Carmellini ’89, who has made his mark with several notable restaurants in New York City and Miami is now expanding his restaurant enterprise into Baltimore.
Perry Cohagan ’89 was named head coach of the Padua Ice Hockey Team in the 2016-2017 season.

Robert and Lisa Dowdell ’95 recently opened Pure Barre in Brecksville.  e 55-minute, instructor-led, total body workout utilizes the ballet barre to perform small, isometric movements that burn
fat, sculpt muscles and create long, lean physiques.  ey o er a free  rst class for Padua alumni.

Jessica (Prizner) Constantine ‘96 recently opened Jessica Constantine Photography.
Brian Spring ‘96 recently opened the Spring Agency of Farmer’s Insurance in Broadview Heights. Brian has been in the insurance and  nancial industry for  ve years.

A.J. Schultz ’97 celebrated the 10-year anniversary of his business, LightRock Productions, LLC.
Linda Florjancic ’97 was recently re-elected as President of the Mu Phi Epsilon Foundation.

Members of
the Class of ’67 returned for the Alumni Homecom- ing Football Game on October 14.
Falconi is currently serving as the Mayor of Brunswick. He is the  rst Filipino American mayor in Ohio. He is also the father of two current Bruins, Joseph ’19 and Angela ’20.
In June 2016, Daniel Sevic ’87  nished his sixth season as the Director for Cavaliers Basketball on Fox Sports Ohio. Daniel directed every game, as well as all of the pre-game and post-game shows in the playo s. He wrapped up his career at FSO with the Cavaliers Championship Parade.
Peter Chimney ’71 retired a er 38 years from Chevron Global Upstream. While at Chevron, he frequently traveled to Asia and Africa exploring oil and gas wells.

Strongsville Youth Hockey Club named Doug Hauser ’77 as its Hockey Director. Coach Hauser served as the Head Hockey Coach at Padua for 28 years. Padua won 561 games under Coach Hauser, which places him fourth in career
Elizabeth D. Ramos ’88 transitioned from private practice to a full-time Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Periodontics and Allied Dental Programs at the Indiana University School of Dentistry located on the Indiana
coaching victories in the state of Ohio.

Padua alumnus Ron Falconi ’87 was selected to serve on the Asian Paci c American
Advisory Council by President Donald Trump.
University-Purdue University at Indianapolis (IUPUI) campus in 2011. In 2016, Liz received three faculty awards: the IUPUI Women’s History Month Leadership Newcomer Faculty Award, IUPUI Trustees’ Teaching Awards and AAP Outstanding Teaching and Mentoring in Periodontics Award.

Padua Couple Delivers Own Baby on Way to Hospital
Alumni couple Megan (Yurko) Gibson ’01 and Roger Gibson ’01 delivered their own baby on the way to the hospital on Febru- ary 22, 2017.  eir son’s eventful entrance into the world caught the attention of FOX 8 News.
Megan is a labor and delivery nurse at Fairview Hospital and Roger is a Cuyahoga County deputy.
“I was so excited because it’s one of the coolest things I have ever done in my life. I saw my daughter come into this world but I delivered my son. It was an awesome experience,” said Roger.
We wish their family lots of luck and many blessings in the days, weeks, and months to come.
