MISSION
Padua Franciscan High School, a Catholic, college-preparatory school, committed to the traditions and values of Saint Francis and Saint Clare of Assisi, educates young men and women within a community where all are challenged to achieve academic excellence and to live out a lifelong commitment to Christ in Holiness and Learning.
Padua Franciscan has provided generations of young men and women an education established in the Catholic faith. Padua was founded in 1961 and is now the largest private, co-educational secondary school in northeast Ohio.
Named for St. Anthony of Padua, we are a community rooted in the Gospel and modeled on the values of our patron saints. The faculty and staff take great responsibility in supporting the faith formation of our students.
As a premier high school, our mission is to develop the unique talents of each student, while giving them the strong academic foundation they need to succeed in college and beyond.
In his commencement address to the Padua Class of 2014, Fr. Michael Perry, ofm, Minister General of the Order of Friars Minor, delivered a personal message from Pope Francis.
